October 2007 - BCI on Winning Team for EUROCONTROL contract. BCI is on the Promaco Services NV team selected to develop the ATN Message Handling System (AMHS) Community Specification. The European Commission has requested EUROCONTROL to develop a specification covering the implementation of AMHS in Europe.

August 2007 - BCI was on the Winning Team selected for the FAA’s Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast Services Division(ADS-B) award. BCI will provide security engineering support to the ITT team including preparation of the Security Certification and Authorization Package (SCAP).

August 2007 - BCI was Awarded a Phase 2/3 SBIR for Advanced Weather Radar processing.

July 2007 - $37.5 Million, 5 Year Contract Awarded to BCI from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division for Subject Matter Technical and Engineering Expertise in Support of System Performance Parameters for Combat System Operation, Identification and Training. The principal location for performance under this contract will be Dahlgren, VA. Mr. Edward B. Hontz is Vice President in charge of BCI’s Dahlgren operations. Other BCI locations where work will be accomplished are Norfolk, VA; Orlando, FL; and San Diego, CA.

April 14, 2007 - BCI Receives IEEE Award - At the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) annual awards dinner held in Philadelphia, BCI received the Corporate Innovation Award for outstanding contributions to Systems and Software Engineering in the area of Radar, Command and Control, Communication and Weapon Control, Air Traffic Control and Weather Systems. This award recognizes a company or corporation for it’s contribution to electrotechnology, and emphasizes developments, projects, products and other accomplishments that have been innovative and successful.

February 2007 - BCI receives a $3 Million Dollar Follow on Contract from Lockheed Martin, Moorestown, for design and development support of Naval Combat Systems in the area of Radar, Command, Control, Communication and Weapons Systems.
