August 2008 - BCI’s Aeronautical Telecommunications Network (ATN) Router, a component of Air Traffic Service Message Handling System (AMHS), is being tested in Macau for its final implementation. BCI also sold the system to USA, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, and India. BCI’s ATN Router can be used with any AMHS system. Some countries, like USA and Thailand developed their own AMHS. The other countries are using AMHS of Comsoft, Germany.

June 2008 - BCI receives a SBIR Phase 2 award for developing Transmitter Noise Compensation of Tactical Radars

May 2008 - BCI receives a $3.8 Million follow on award from Lockheed Martin, NJ, for design and developement support of Advanced Radar, Command and Control, Communication and Weapon Systems.

February 2008 - SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego has awarded an IDIQ MAC contract to prime contractor, Assured Decisions, LLC, of which BCI is one of the subcontractors for Analytics for Technical and Engineering support to augment Command and Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs and projects through the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego (SSC SD) C4ISR Programs Office, Philadelphia.

January 2008 - NSWC-CD awarded BCI a multi-year Computer Network Information Assurance IT support contract.

October 2007 - BCI is on the Promaco Services NV team selected to develop the ATN Message Handling System (AMHS) Community Specification. The European Commission has requested EUROCONTROL to develop a specification covering the implementation of AMHS in Europe.

August 2007 - BCI was awarded a Phase 2/3 SBIR for Advanced Weather Radar processing.

August 2007 - BCI was on the winning team selected for the FAA’s Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast Services Division(ADS-B) award. BCI will provide security engineering support to the ITT team including preparation of the Security Certification and Authorization Package (SCAP).

July 2007 - $37.5 Million, 5 Year Contract Awarded to BCI from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division for Subject Matter Technical and Engineering Expertise in Support of System Performance Parameters for Combat System Operation, Identification and Training. The principal location for performance under this contract will be Dahlgren, VA. Mr. Edward B. Hontz is Vice President in charge of BCI’s Dahlgren operations. Other BCI locations where work will be accomplished are Norfolk, VA; Orlando, FL; and San Diego, CA.

April 14, 2007 - At the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) annual awards dinner held in Philadelphia, BCI received the Corporate Innovation Award for outstanding contributions to Systems and Software Engineering in the area of Radar, Command and Control, Communication and Weapon Control, Air Traffic Control and Weather Systems.

February 2007 - BCI receives a $3 million dollar follow on contract from Lockheed Martin, Moorestown, for design and development support of Naval Combat Systems in the area of Radar, Command, Control, Communication and Weapons Systems.

September 25, 2006 - $5 Million Multiyear Research & Development Contract awarded to the BCI lead team of Lockheed Martin & Oklahoma University from NOAA for Phased Array Radar severe weather research at the NSSL National Weather Radar Testbed (NWRT).

July 20, 2006 - BCI awarded an Advanced Technology Management System with Workflow contract for the DeKalb County, Georgia Police Department.

July 1, 2006 - BCI awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovative Research Contract for developing a modular software architecture for advanced weather radar processors.

June 1, 2006 - BCI awarded a follow-on effort to continue the development of the Weather Extractor Computer component of the US Navy’s Hazardous Weather Detection and Display Capability (HWDDC).

May 1, 2006 - BCI is designated as a major sub-contractor on the US Marine Corps Meteorological Mobile Facility, Next Generation (METMF NEXGEN) prototype design contract.

February 23, 2006 - BCI delivered and installed an adjunct weather radar processor for the US Navy's AN/SPS-48E radar onboard the USS PELELIU(LHA-5).

January 20, 2006 - AEROTHAI, Thailand signed a purchase order to purchase four BCI Aeronautical Telecommunication Networks(ATN) Routers for use inThailand's Aeronautical Message Handling System(AMHS).

November 1, 2005 - A $3M contract was awarded by Lockheed Martin, Moorestown NJ , for design & development of radar, Command & Control and Weapon Systems for the US Navy.

June 15, 2005 - BCI is awarded a contract with NSWCCD for the provision of long term support RDT&E Network at its Philadelphia, Pa. and West Bethesda Md. sites as well as remote detachments.

June 6, 2005 - BCI awarded multiyear contract with DeKalb County Georgia to Stabilize, Integrate and Enhance the Oracle database system.

June 2, 2005 - Computer Sciences Corporation awards BCI a subcontract for developing specifications for the Joint Ballistic Missile Defense Project at Huntsville, Alabama.

May 31, 2005 - BCI, as a major member of EG&G’s winning team, has been given tasks to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCDD), System Safety Engineering Branch. BCI will provide Software Safety Engineering services for the US Navy and Marine Corps Weapon and Combat System Programs. EG&G is the prime contractor. The contract extend until the year 2010.

May 30, 2005 - BCI was awarded a contract by Dekalb County, Georgia to enhance it’s MIS System and Computer System Networks.

May 16, 2005 - BCI was awarded a contract by Army CECOM, for Advanced Digital Phased Array Radar (Digital Array Radar Program) development, through CACI as the Prime Contractor.  BCI will be working with CREE and Purdue University to integrate Gallium Nitride MMICs into transmit/receive modules for a panel array antenna.

May 9, 2005 - BCI was awarded a year contract with the US Navy to implement weather functions for a Navy SPS-48E Phased Array Radar. The Weather Extractor Computer will be upgraded to process weather data from the SPS-48E using signal processing boards designed and implemented by BCI.

March 29, 2005 - $19 Million contract awarded from the FAA WJHTC for research, design, and development of the multifunction phased array radars of the future to meet weather and surveillance requirements. Subtasks included additional support for NWRT and FAA track processing integration and support.

December 14, 2004 - Contract awarded by National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL), Norman Oklahoma for engineering support, calibration and analysis of the NWRT Phased Array Radar system located at Norman Oklahoma.

November 22, 2004 - Multiyear contract awarded by BAE Systems Applied Technologies, Washington, D.C. to perform systems engineering tasks in support of the US Navy Aegis Program.

October 5, 2004 - L3 Communications, Camden, NJ awarded a long term contract for selected security systems, software development and systems support tasks.

September 30, 2004 - $2.7M contract awarded by Lockheed Martin, Moorestown, NJ for the design, development and review of radar, management, threat analysis, communications and system engineering analysis and integration tasks.

August 8, 2004 - Contract awarded by Applied Physics Laboratory, The John Hopkins University, for engineering services to support the development of The Joint Air Defense Warfighter.

March 24, 2004 - Multiyear contract awarded from Battelle Laboratory, Columbus, Ohio for a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) implementation derivation for the Department of Homeland Security, Transporation Security Administration Laboratory.

March 18, 2004 - Contract awarded from Lincoln Laboratory, MIT, Massachusetts to develop software for Weather Distribution Gateway for the FAA weather network system.

August 2003 - BCI named one of the Fast 50 winners for 2003

March 3, 2003 - EDS Corp. awarded BCI a support contract under Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) Information Technology (IT) contract for 1 year valued at over 1 million dollars.

February 20, 2003 - The FAA Surface Technology Product Team awarded BCI a contract to provide Ground Marker System aimed at reducing runway incursion. Deployment of GM will enhance pilot situational awareness, and be extremely useful in periods of low visibility on taxiways and runways.

February 1, 2003: BCI Turnersville relocates - to 381 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Now known as BCI Washington Township.

November 6, 2002 - BCI was awarded the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Award of Merit during the ATCA convention in Washington, DC. This award recognizes BCI for outstanding achievement and contributions, which advanced the science of Air Traffic Control. Particular program of mention was the Integrated Terminal Weather System (ITWS) that contributes to the NAS modernization.

November 1, 2002 - BCI awarded $4.6 Million Contract from BAE Systems to perform system and software engineering support for the AEGIS TechRep Contract.

September 14, 2002 - BCI was selected for the 5th consecutive year by NJ Business News as one of the 25 finest corporations in NJ. Each year, one company is inducted into the Hall of Fame as a result of wining this selection for 5 years. The award for 2002 was given to BCI.

August 5, 2002 - $2.7 Million Contract awarded to BCI from Lockheed Martin, Moorestown, NJ

March 2, 2002 - The IEEE selected BCI and it’s CEO, Mr. Sailesh R. Chowdhury to receive an annual award for leadership in Systems and Software Engineering presented during the IEEE night at the Union League, Philadelphia.

January 3, 2002- $7 Million contract awarded by the FAA to BCI for Weather Radar Research.

November 1, 2001- Navy awards $31 million contract for engineering, technical analysis and support services.

August 16, 2001- BCI named one of New Jersey's fastest growing Technology Companies in 2001 by Deloitte & Touche's "Fast 50" program.

April 5, 2001 - RADM Cobb presented BCI an AEGIS Excellence Award on Thursday, April 5 during a ceremony in Philadelphia. NAVSSES and BCI were recognized for outstanding achievement in support of the surface combatant fleet.

April 2, 2001 - The Naval Engineers Symposium was attended by over 5 hundred civilian & military personnel.

March 20, 2001- The FAA Division wins a 7-year $32 million contract for technical engineering support services.

February 12, 2001 - NAVSEA Philadelphia increases the BCI contract ceiling to $8.1 million dollars.

December 28, 2000- The FAA William J. Huges Technical Center awarded BCI and its subcontractors, ECS and ITT, a 10-year IDIQ contract for Test and Engineering Services.

November, 2000 - BCI was recognized for Aeronautical Telecommunication Network Panel work. Tom McParland, BCI employee, received Certificates of Appreciation signed by Jane Garvey, FAA Administrator, and Rodney Slater, Secretary of Transportation, on behalf of the BCI team, which includes Jamie Chappell and Jim Simpkins.

November 15, 2000 - BCI employee, Kevin Leonard, was nominated for IEEE award.

November 7-10, 2000 - BCI supported the Asia-Pacific ATN transition Task Force Working Group meeting in Hawaii.

October 22-26, 2000 - BCI participated in the Air Traffic Control Association conference in Atlantic City. The BCI booth had computer displays on graphical weather, the A-PUP NEXRAD simulator, computer security and ATN routing. The technical demonstrations were from some of the projects BCI develops and tests for the Federal Aviation Administration.

October 19, 2000 - BCI makes capability presentation to technical managers and contracts department at Naval Air Warfare Center.

October 16, 2000 - NAVSEA Philadelphia increases the BCI contract ceiling to $5.5 million dollars.

October 1, 2000 - BCI begins operations at NAVSEA Crystal City, in support of PEO Theater Surface Combatants.

August 2000 - BCI named by New Jersey Business News as one of the top 25 privately held firms in New Jersey.

June 20, 2000 - BCI named as one of New Jersey's 30 best companies by Ernst and Young.

April 6, 2000- FAA awards 5 million dollar Nexcom contract to BCI.

April 5, 2000 - BCI was awarded the Theater Surface Combatants Award for Excellence by Rear Admiral William W. Cobb, Jr. This award recognized BCI for 19 years of exceptional support to PEO TSC in engineering, integration and life cycle support of surface combatants systems under NSWCCD-SSES.

April 1, 2000 - The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, awards BCI-Dahlgren a follow-on contract valued at $29 million.

February 15, 2000 - Lockheed Martin Moorestown continued BCI as a subcontractor for the US Navy AEGIS Combat Systems program with allocation of 2.8 million dollars for year 2000.

February 10, 2000- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, awards $29 million dollar contract to BCI.

January 4, 2000 - BCI begins operations at Ingalls Shipbuilding and Bath Iron Works in support of surface combatant construction.

December 1999 - BCI was noted in INC. Magazine's 500 list of America's fastest growing private companies.

November 17, 1999 - BCI employee, Tom McParland, wins an Outstanding Technical Leadership award with IEEE Southern New Jersey.

November 16, 1999 - BCI was listed in the Technology Fast 500. The 1999 Deloitte and Touche Technology Fast 500 cites BCI as #386 among the fastest growing technology companies in the United States, as published in Forbes Magazine.

October 4, 1999 - BCI expands the Philadelphia operation to include ILS support.

August 19, 1999 - BCI begins CHET operations in Mayport FL, San Diego CA, and Everett Wa.

July 15, 1999 - NAVSEA, Philadelphia awards a $3 million dollar contract to BCI for Engineering and Technical Services for Combat Systems Support Equipment.

July 14, 1999- BCI received a $12.6 million FAA contract to support several tasks within the William J. Hughes Technical Center Weather Branch. The contract will provide 5 years of support in the Engineering, Development and Test areas of legacy systems and new acquisitions. These areas of support will include Weather Radars, Sensors, and Systems, and their respective communications infrastructure.
